Our Approach
At Orchard Florist, our day begins with the sunrise—often as early as 5am—as we carefully select the finest blooms and foliage from the market. With a deep-rooted passion for quality and craftsmanship, we prioritize working with local growers, proudly sourcing our flowers from trusted San Francisco Bay Area suppliers for over a decade.
Back in our bustling studio—where hanging gardens bloom above and a vintage bathtub overflows with fresh flowers—we begin the artful process of sketching designs for our floral installations. From intimate venues to grand celebrations across the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, each creation is thoughtfully tailored to reflect the spirit of the setting and the story of our clients.

The Owner
With over a decade at the forefront of floral design, Wiwied Irfianti is now one of San Francisco’s most respected and sought-after florists. She trained under the legendary Jane Packer and went on to work with several of the city’s premier floral studios, designing for luxury events and high-profile celebrations throughout the Bay Area. In 2019, she founded Orchard Florist to express her own intimate and artistic approach to floral storytelling.
Born and raised in Surabaya, Indonesia, Wiwied draws endless inspiration from the city’s vibrant energy and rich cultural heritage—from the rolling hills of Surabaya to the creative pulse of the Surabaya Down Town District. She moved to San Francisco, California in 2004. She finds peace in the natural beauty that surrounds the city—whether in the serenity of Golden Gate Park or the coastal stillness of Lands End. This unique balance between urban dynamism and nature’s quiet elegance is at the heart of Orchard Florist’s distinctive floral style.
Guided by her love of color, texture, and form, she blends romanticism with untamed beauty—creating generous, thoughtfully unexpected arrangements. Her studio and boutique spaces, nestled in corners of the city, are floral sanctuaries—calm, green oases brimming with full blooms, trailing plants, and potted trees. It’s in these spaces, just steps away from the city’s bustle, that Orchard Florist and her team craft their signature designs—rooted in San Francisco, yet blooming far beyond.
